Terms of service
The agreement between you and Fortress Algo Incorporated, operating as Wiremi. One master agreement, then a schedule for each product, because a circle, a loan funded by a stranger and a locked savings goal are different promises.

This version replaces the terms of 15 January 2026. Earlier versions are kept and available on request.
1 The agreement, and who it is with
These terms are a contract between you and Fortress Algo Incorporated, a corporation registered in Canada under Registry ID 4363756, with its head office at 5800 Ambler Dr, Suite 210, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 4J4, operating under the trade name Wiremi. Wiremi is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business under registration number M23401666.
You accept these terms when you open an account, and again each time you use the service. If you do not accept them, do not open an account, and close the one you have.
In short
You open an account, we verify who you are, and you can then hold money, send it, save it, join a circle, borrow, lend, spend on a card and build a credit record. We charge what the screen says before you confirm, we show you the rate before it is applied, and we hold your money apart from our own. We can freeze or refuse a transaction where the law requires it. Your money is not insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Earn account can lose value.
1.1 What forms the agreement
- These terms, including every schedule to them.
- The fee and limit schedule shown in the app, as it stands when you make a transaction.
- The privacy policy, which governs personal information.
- Any product-specific agreement you accept in the app, including a loan agreement, a benefactor agreement or a circle’s own rules.
- The compliance and AML policy, which explains obligations that affect what we must do with your account.
The schedules are part of this agreement and bind you to the extent you use the product each covers. Where a schedule conflicts with the master agreement, the schedule governs for that product. Where a product-specific agreement you signed in the app conflicts with a schedule, that agreement governs.
1.2 What Wiremi is, and what it is not
Wiremi is a registered money services business and a payment service provider. Wiremi is not a bank. We do not take deposits within the meaning of the Bank Act, we are not a member institution of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, and money held in a Wiremi account is not insured by CDIC or by any deposit insurer. We are not a credit bureau or a consumer reporting agency. We are not an investment dealer, a securities adviser or a tax adviser, and nothing in the app or on our site is investment, tax or legal advice.
2 Words that carry a defined meaning
- Account
- The Wiremi account opened in your name, including every wallet, balance, savings goal and profile held within it.
- Benefactor
- A member who funds another member’s Circle Credit loan with their own money. Covered by Schedule G.
- Business day
- A day other than a Saturday, Sunday or statutory holiday in Ontario.
- Circle
- A rotating savings group whose collection, payout order and contribution record Wiremi automates. Covered by Schedule D.
- Community Credit
- The proprietary score, running from 300 to 900, that Wiremi builds from your conduct on the platform. Covered by Schedule E.
- Credit ID
- The identifier you give to a lender or a landlord so that they can request a Verify check against your file.
- Earn account
- The United States dollar account that earns a variable daily yield. Covered by Schedule K, and it is not a deposit.
- Ori
- The assistant inside the Wiremi app. Covered by Schedule M. Ori never moves money.
- Partner
- A licensed third party through which we deliver part of the service, including an identity verification provider, a payout partner, a mobile money operator, a card issuer, a bank and a stablecoin on-ramp or off-ramp provider.
- Verify
- Wiremi Verify, the consent-gated service through which a lender or landlord reads part of your Community Credit file. Covered by Schedule H.
- We, us, Wiremi
- Fortress Algo Incorporated.
- You
- The person in whose name the account is held, and, for Schedule L, the business whose profile sits on that person’s identity.
3 Who may open an account
| Requirement | What it means |
|---|---|
| Age | You must be at least 18 years old. We do not open accounts for minors, with or without a guardian |
| Residence | You must live in a country where we are permitted to offer the service, and you must tell us when that changes |
| Capacity | You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and be acting for yourself |
| One account | One personal account per person. A business profile sits on your personal identity rather than being a second account |
| Truthfulness | Everything you tell us must be accurate and current, and you must correct it when it changes |
| Not prohibited | You must not be a person we are prohibited from dealing with under section 3.2 |
3.1 Acting for yourself
The account is yours and is operated by you. You may not open or operate an account on behalf of an undisclosed third party, let anyone else use your account, or act as an agent for someone who has not been identified to us. If you are acting at the instruction of, or for the benefit of, anyone else, you must tell us, and we will record who they are. We may ask at any time, and a refusal to answer is grounds to restrict the account.
3.2 Who we will not take
We do not open or keep an account for, and we do not process a transaction for, any of the following. This list is a term of this agreement and not merely a policy.
- A person or entity listed under Canadian sanctions or terrorist-listing law, or owned or controlled by one.
- A person resident in, or an entity incorporated in, a country under comprehensive Canadian sanctions or subject to a Financial Action Task Force call for action.
- A shell bank, an unregistered money services business, or anyone acting as an undisclosed agent for others.
- A business engaged in illegal activity, unlicensed gambling, weapons trafficking, or the unlicensed sale of controlled substances.
- Anyone whose relationship with us has been terminated for money laundering, terrorist financing or fraud, including under a new identity or a new business.
4 Verifying who you are
Before any function that moves money is enabled, we verify your identity. The law requires a money services business to verify at CAD $1,000 for an electronic funds transfer; we verify every client at the outset, whatever the amount, because an unverified account is how a platform becomes a laundromat.
You agree to give us a valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification document, captured live in the app, together with a liveness-checked selfie, and the information in section 3 of the privacy policy. We may use an identity verification provider to perform the check. We may ask you, later and from time to time, for proof of address, source of funds, source of wealth, the purpose of a transaction or your relationship to the person receiving it, and you agree to answer.
Important
If you cannot be verified, if a document is assessed as forged or altered, or if you decline to answer a request we are entitled to make, we may refuse to open the account, restrict it to withdrawal of your own verified funds, or close it. Where the law requires, we may be unable to tell you the reason, and you agree that a refusal to explain in those circumstances is not a breach of this agreement.
5 Your account, and keeping it safe
5.1 What you must do
- Keep your password, passcode, one-time codes and biometric unlock private, and never share them, including with someone claiming to be from Wiremi. We will never ask you for a password or a one-time code.
- Keep two-factor authentication switched on.
- Keep your device locked, updated and free of software you do not trust, and do not use Wiremi on a jailbroken or rooted device.
- Keep your contact details current, so that we can reach you about your money.
- Read your notifications and your history, and tell us promptly about anything you do not recognise.
5.2 Telling us quickly
If you believe your account has been accessed without your authority, that your device or credentials have been lost or compromised, or that a transaction on your history is not yours, tell us immediately through the app or at support@wiremi.ca. We will freeze what needs freezing while we investigate. Section 10 sets out who bears a loss, and the speed with which you tell us affects it.
5.3 What we may do to protect the account
We may require step-up authentication, bind your account to known devices, limit or refuse access from a device or network we consider unsafe, and hold a transaction while we confirm with you that you meant it. These are protections rather than services, and we may apply them without notice where delay would defeat the point.
6 How you may not use Wiremi
You agree not to use Wiremi, and not to let anyone use your account, for any of the following. A breach of this section is a material breach and may result in immediate closure and a report to the authorities.
6.1 Financial crime
- Laundering the proceeds of crime, financing terrorism, or evading sanctions, including by using another person’s account or lending yours.
- Structuring transactions to stay under a reporting, identification or limit threshold.
- Acting as a money mule, whether or not you know where the money came from. If someone you met online asks you to receive money and pass it on, that is what this means.
- Making a false statement to us about your identity, your residence, your occupation, the source of your funds, the purpose of a transfer or your relationship to the person receiving it.
6.2 Fraud and abuse of the record
- Opening an account in anyone else’s name, or using a document that is not yours.
- Manufacturing circle contributions, loans or savings movements for the purpose of inflating a Community Credit score, including circular transfers between accounts you control or coordinate.
- Arranging for a person connected to you to fund your Circle Credit loan as a benefactor, or otherwise defeating the separation in Schedule G.
- Running a Verify check without a permitted purpose, on a person who has no relationship with you, or reselling, compiling or republishing anything you read from a file.
6.3 Unlawful and prohibited dealings
- Paying for or receiving payment in connection with anything illegal where you are or where the money lands.
- Unlicensed gambling, weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or material that sexually exploits anyone.
- Operating a money services, remittance, exchange or payment business through your personal account.
6.4 Against the platform
- Probing, scanning, overloading or interfering with the service, or circumventing a security or rate limit.
- Scraping, automating or reverse engineering the service, except through an interface we publish and licence to you.
- Abusing, threatening or harassing our staff, a partner, or another member.
7 Money in, money out
7.1 Funding your account
You may fund your account by the methods shown in the app, which today include bank transfer, Interac e-Transfer, card and mobile money. We do not accept cash, and we never will through a personal account without first changing this agreement. Funds must come from an account or instrument in your own name. We may return funds that arrive from a third party.
7.2 Giving us an instruction
When you confirm a transfer in the app you authorise us to carry it out. The screen shows you the amount, the fee, the rate where one applies and the expected arrival before you confirm. An instruction is generally irrevocable once confirmed, because the money starts moving. We will try to recall a payment if you ask us quickly, but we cannot promise to succeed, and a recall depends on the receiving institution.
7.3 Getting it right
You are responsible for the details you enter, including the account number, wallet address or mobile number of the person being paid. Payments are delivered on the identifiers you give us. A payment sent to the wrong person because the details were wrong is not an unauthorised transaction, and while we will help you try to recover it, we cannot guarantee recovery.
7.4 Safeguarding
Money you hold in your Wiremi account that is not placed in the Earn account is held separately from Wiremi’s own funds, in accounts with regulated Canadian financial institutions, in line with our obligations as a payment service provider under the Retail Payment Activities Act. We do not lend out your wallet balance. Safeguarding is not deposit insurance; see section 1.2.
8 Fees, rates and limits
The fees and limits that apply to you are shown in the app and form part of this agreement. We publish the price of a thing on the screen where you do the thing, before you confirm it, rather than in a schedule you have to go and find.
| What | How it works |
|---|---|
| Transfer fees | Shown next to the method, with the arrival time, before you confirm. Wiremi to Wiremi transfers are free and nothing is held back from the amount |
| Exchange rates | Shown before you confirm. The rate includes our margin, and we state the rate you will receive rather than a mid-market rate you will not |
| Third-party costs | A network fee for a stablecoin transfer, or a charge levied by a receiving institution, is shown where we know it and is yours to pay |
| Circle payout fee | Quoted by each circle when it is created, and visible to every member before they join |
| Interest on a loan | Fixed at the time of the loan, within the ceiling your tier allows, and set out in the loan agreement you accept |
| Verify checks | Charged to the requester, never to the person whose file is read. A soft check is $0.45 and a full check is $1.95, with twenty free soft checks each month |
| Limits | Set by your verification tier and your risk rating. We may lower a limit at any time where risk requires it, and we will tell you |
| Changing a fee | At least 30 days’ notice of an increase or a new fee, under section 20 |
Where a transaction leaves you with a negative balance through a reversal, a chargeback or an error in your favour, you agree to repay it, and you authorise us to recover it from any balance you hold with us.
9 When we hold, refuse or freeze
Some of what follows will be unwelcome in the moment. It is the price of a platform that cannot be used to move criminal money, and it is applied to everyone.
We may delay, hold, refuse, reverse or reject a transaction, and may restrict, suspend or freeze an account or a balance, where any of the following applies.
- We are required to by law, by a lawful demand, or by a sanctions or terrorist-listing obligation.
- We have reasonable grounds to suspect money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or fraud.
- The transaction would breach section 6, exceed a limit, or come from a source we cannot establish.
- We have asked you for information we are entitled to and have not received it.
- We believe the account has been compromised, or that you are being defrauded by someone else.
- A partner or a receiving institution refuses, returns or holds the payment.
Important
Where we freeze funds because of a confirmed sanctions match, we are forbidden to release them without authority from the RCMP, CSIS or a court, and we must report the matter. Where we have filed or considered filing a suspicious transaction report, the law prohibits us from telling you so. In those cases we will say only that a review is in progress. That is not evasion; it is the tipping-off prohibition, and breaching it is a criminal offence.
Except where the law prevents it, we will tell you that something is held, and we will act within the service levels in our compliance programme. We are not liable for a loss caused by a hold, refusal or freeze made in good faith under this section.
10 Errors and unauthorised transactions
Check your history. If you see a transaction you did not authorise, or an error by us, tell us within 60 days of the date it appears. We will investigate, keep you informed, and complete the investigation within 30 days of receiving everything we need from you.
| Situation | Who bears the loss |
|---|---|
| A transaction you did not authorise, reported promptly, where you kept your credentials safe and did not act fraudulently | Wiremi. We restore the amount |
| An error by us or by a partner acting on our instruction | Wiremi. We correct it and refund any fee we charged on it |
| A transaction authorised by you, including one you were tricked into authorising by someone impersonating another person | You, although we will help you pursue it and will report it |
| A loss arising because you shared a password, passcode or one-time code, or let someone else use the account | You |
| A loss that grows because you did not tell us promptly once you knew | You, for the part that accrued after you knew |
| A payment delivered to the wrong person on identifiers you entered incorrectly | You, although we will attempt recovery |
Nothing in this section displaces a right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be contracted out of.
11 Tax
Your tax is yours. You are responsible for determining what you owe and to whom, including on yield earned in an Earn account, on interest earned as a benefactor, and on anything you receive through Wiremi. We do not give tax advice. We will report and withhold where the law requires us to, and we will give you the records you need.
12 How we communicate
You agree to receive agreements, disclosures, statements, notices and confirmations electronically, in the app or by email, and you agree that an electronic record satisfies any requirement that a document be in writing. You can ask for a paper copy of a record at any time at no charge. A notice we send is treated as received when it is sent to the address or device you last gave us, so keep those current.
Service messages about your own money cannot be switched off while your account is open. Marketing is separate, requires your consent, and can be withdrawn at any time.
13 What belongs to whom
Wiremi, the Wiremi name and mark, the app, the website, the Community Credit model and everything we publish belong to us or to our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and the service for your own purposes while this agreement is in force. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, licence or create derivative works from any of it, and you may not use our name or mark without our written permission.
Content you submit stays yours. You grant us a licence to host, store, process and display it so far as we need to in order to provide the service, and to keep it where the law requires us to. Where you send us feedback or a suggestion, you allow us to use it without obligation to you.
14 Availability of the service
We aim to keep Wiremi available at all times, and we do not promise that it will be. The service may be unavailable for planned maintenance, which we will try to schedule outside peak hours and to tell you about in advance, and for unplanned outages, which we will tell you about and fix as quickly as we can.
Parts of the service depend on partners, networks and institutions we do not control, including banks, mobile money operators, card networks and blockchain networks. A delay or failure in one of those can delay or fail a payment, and arrival times shown in the app are estimates rather than guarantees unless we say otherwise on the screen.
15 Ending the relationship
15.1 You can leave
You may close your account at any time in the app or at support@wiremi.ca. Before we can close it, you must settle anything you owe, including an outstanding loan, and resolve any live circle obligation. Money in a Safe Lock goal cannot be released before it matures, including on closure; that is the entire point of it, and you were told so before you chose it.
15.2 We can end it too
We may suspend or close your account on 30 days’ notice for any reason, and immediately and without notice where you breach section 3 or section 6, where we are required to by law, where we have reasonable grounds to suspect financial crime or fraud, where a sanctions match is confirmed, or where keeping the account open would expose us or another member to loss.
15.3 What happens then
We return your available balance by a method we can verify is yours, less anything you owe and anything we are required to freeze. We keep the records the PCMLTFA obliges us to keep, for five years, as the privacy policy explains. Closure does not end an obligation that by its nature survives, including repayment of a loan, indemnity, and the sections on liability and dispute resolution.
15.4 Dormant accounts
If an account has no activity for 24 months we will try to reach you at the details we hold. If we still cannot reach you, we may close the account and will deal with any remaining balance in accordance with applicable unclaimed property law. We do not charge a dormancy fee.
16 Our liability
We will perform our obligations with reasonable care and skill. Subject to that, and to the paragraph at the end of this section:
- The service is provided as it is and as it is available, and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent the law allows.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, nor for lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data or loss of goodwill.
- We are not liable for a loss caused by your breach of this agreement, by details you entered incorrectly, by your failure to keep credentials safe, or by a transaction you authorised.
- We are not liable for the acts of a partner, bank, mobile money operator, card network or blockchain network beyond our reasonable control, nor for an event of force majeure.
- Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and CAD $1,000.
Important
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected, and where a provincial consumer protection statute gives you a right that conflicts with a limit above, that right prevails.
17 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Wiremi, its directors, officers, employees and partners against any claim, loss, liability, fine or reasonable legal cost arising out of your breach of this agreement, your breach of law, your infringement of a third party’s rights, or information you gave us about another person without the authority to give it. We will tell you promptly about a claim, let you participate in the defence, and not settle it without your consent where the settlement would bind you.
18 Complaints
We maintain a written complaint handling procedure, as a payment service provider must. A complaint is free, it does not prejudice you, and you do not need a lawyer to make one.
| Stage | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Tell us | Write to complaints@wiremi.ca, or raise it in the app. Tell us what happened and what outcome you want | Any time |
| 2. We acknowledge | We confirm we have it, give you a reference and name the person handling it | Within 2 business days |
| 3. We investigate | We review the account, the records and the people involved, and ask you for anything missing | Promptly |
| 4. We answer | A written decision in plain language, with our reasons, and what we will do | Within 30 days |
| 5. You escalate inside Wiremi | If you are unhappy, say so. It goes to someone senior who was not part of the first decision | Within 30 days of your escalation |
| 6. You escalate outside Wiremi | We tell you, in the decision, which external body you can take it to and how | Any time |
Depending on the subject, the external route may be the Bank of Canada for a retail payment matter, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy commissioner for a privacy matter, your provincial consumer protection office, or a court. We will name the right one for your complaint rather than make you guess.
19 Governing law, and resolving a dispute
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
Before starting a proceeding, you agree to raise the matter through the complaints procedure in section 18, and we agree to answer it. Most disputes end there, and the ones that do not are better defined for having gone through it.
If a dispute remains, you and we may agree to resolve it by arbitration before a single arbitrator in Ontario under the Arbitration Act, 1991. Otherwise the courts of Ontario have non-exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we each submit to them.
Important
Nothing in this section requires you to arbitrate, takes away your right to bring a claim in a small claims court, prevents you from participating in a class proceeding, or waives a right that a consumer protection statute says cannot be waived. Residents of Quebec keep every right article 11.1 of the Civil Code of Québec and Quebec consumer protection law give them, and may bring proceedings in Quebec. We have written this clause to be enforceable rather than to be intimidating.
20 Changing these terms
We may change this agreement. Where a change is material, including a new fee, an increase in a fee, a reduction in a limit or a change that reduces your rights, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email and in the app, stating what is changing, the new provision, the date it takes effect and your right to close your account without charge before then. Continuing to use Wiremi after the date it takes effect is acceptance of it.
A change required immediately by law or to address a security risk may take effect at once, and we will tell you as soon as we can. A correction that does not affect your rights takes effect when published. Every prior version is kept and is available on request.
21 Odds and ends that still matter
21.1 Assignment
You may not assign this agreement. We may assign it to an affiliate or to a party that acquires our business, on notice to you, provided your rights are not reduced.
21.2 Severability and waiver
If a provision is held unenforceable it is severed and the rest stands. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not give it up.
21.3 Entire agreement
This agreement, its schedules and the documents listed in section 1.1 are the whole of what is agreed between us about the service, and replace anything said before.
21.4 Language
The parties have required that this agreement be drawn in English. Les parties ont exigé que la présente convention soit rédigée en anglais. A French version is available on request, and where Quebec law requires the French version to govern, it does.
21.5 Survival
Sections 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21, and every schedule obligation that by its nature continues, survive the closing of your account.
21.6 Contacting us
Fortress Algo Incorporated, 5800 Ambler Dr, Suite 210, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 4J4, Canada. support@wiremi.ca for the service, privacy@wiremi.ca for personal information, compliance@wiremi.ca for compliance, complaints@wiremi.ca for a complaint.
Schedule A Accounts, wallets and payments
This schedule covers the Wiremi account itself: holding money, moving it between Wiremi accounts, and paying out to a bank account.
- Your account holds balances in the currencies we support. A balance is an obligation we owe you, held and safeguarded under section 7.4, and it does not earn a return unless you place it in an Earn account under Schedule K.
- A transfer between two Wiremi accounts is instant and free, and nothing is held back from the amount.
- A payout to a bank account is delivered on the details you give us, within the time shown on the screen before you confirm.
- We may apply per-transaction, daily and monthly limits, set by your verification tier and your risk rating, and shown in the app.
- Where you convert between currencies, the rate shown before you confirm is the rate applied, and it includes our margin.
Schedule B Cross-border remittances
Sending money out of Canada, delivered by a licensed partner in the destination country.
- We deliver to bank accounts and mobile money wallets in the corridors shown in the app, today including Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and Kenya, through partners including Chimoney, MTN MoMo and PayPal.
- The fee, the exchange rate and the expected arrival time are shown beside the method before you confirm. Where we settle on a stablecoin network because it is faster or cheaper, the receipt shows the route.
- You must give us the beneficiary’s name, country, delivery method and account, wallet or mobile number, the purpose of the transfer and your relationship to them. These are regulatory requirements, not curiosity.
- For a transfer of CAD $1,000 or more we are required to include your name, account number and address with the transfer, and pass it to the next party in the chain. This is the travel rule and it is not optional.
- A beneficiary name that does not match the receiving account will cause the transfer to be returned. Returns are credited back to your account, net of any cost a partner has already charged.
- Delivery depends on the receiving institution and on local conditions. Arrival times are estimates unless the screen says otherwise.
Note
An international transfer of CAD $10,000 or more, or two or more such transfers within 24 hours by or for the same person totalling that amount, is reported to FINTRAC. This is a legal obligation on us, it applies to everyone, and it is not a suggestion that anything is wrong.
Schedule C Savings
Three ways to hold money, which differ only in how hard it is to take it back out. Savings are a commitment device, not an investment, and they do not earn a return.
| Kind | Taking money out | Cost of breaking it |
|---|---|---|
| Open | Whenever you want, with no notice | Nothing |
| Normal Block | Locked for a term you choose, with an early exit path | A fee, shown before you choose the goal and again before you break it |
| Safe Lock | Not possible before maturity. No emergency withdrawal, no exception, not on account closure | Not applicable, because it cannot be broken |
- The app warns you clearly which kind you are choosing, and what it will cost to get out, before you commit.
- A Safe Lock goal cannot be reopened and the term does not carry over. We will not release it early on request, and our refusal is not a breach of this agreement.
- Balance held in savings counts toward the savings component of Community Credit, which carries a weight of 10 per cent.
Schedule D Savings circles
A rotating savings group. Members contribute on a cycle and one member takes the pot each time. Wiremi automates the collection, keeps the order honest and records what happened. Wiremi does not run the circle and does not guarantee it.
- Every member must be a verified Wiremi account holder.
- A contribution can be funded only from your own verified wallet, and a payout can reach only your own wallet. The platform blocks anything outside that loop. This is what makes a circle a record rather than a route.
- The circle’s rules, its payout order and its payout fee are set when it is created and are visible to every member before they join.
- Contributions are the obligation of each member to the circle and its members, not to Wiremi. Wiremi is not a party to the circle, does not guarantee any contribution or payout, and does not advance money to cover a member who does not pay.
- A missed contribution is recorded, and the app tells you so at the moment you choose a funding source, before the payment rather than after it. It affects the circle faithfulness component of your score, which carries a weight of 65 per cent.
- Taking a payout and then leaving the circle is a breach of your undertaking to the other members, is recorded, and is grounds for us to restrict your access to circles.
Schedule E Community Credit
The score Wiremi builds from your conduct, and lends its own money against.
- Community Credit runs from 300 to 900 and is recomputed as you go. It is built from circle faithfulness (65 per cent), loan repayment (25 per cent) and savings held (10 per cent). Those are the only inputs.
- It is not a credit bureau score. Wiremi is not a consumer reporting agency. Your conduct on Wiremi is not filed with Equifax, TransUnion or Experian, and your Wiremi score does not change any bureau score you hold.
- Your tier sets the ceiling on the rate you can be charged and the limits you can hold. Wiremi sets the rate within that ceiling, and it is not negotiated.
- Every entry that moved the score is shown in the app with the amount it moved. You may dispute any entry, and section 14 of the privacy policy sets out how a dispute runs.
- A credit decision made from the score is an automated decision, and you have the rights in section 6.4 of the privacy policy, including the right to an explanation and to human review.
- Manufacturing entries to inflate a score is a breach of section 6.2 and voids the score we have built.
Schedule F Circle Credit, when you borrow
A loan priced from your tier and funded by one benefactor, who never learns who you are.
- Your tier sets the ceiling on your rate: 22.0 per cent at Emerging, 18.0 per cent at Building, 15.0 per cent at Trusted and 10.0 per cent at Anchor. The rate is fixed before funding begins and does not change afterwards.
- The loan agreement you accept in the app sets out the amount, the rate, the schedule, the total you will repay and every fee. It is the operative document, and this schedule supports it.
- Nothing leaves anyone’s wallet until the whole amount is funded. Proceeds reach only your own wallet, and repayments are taken only from it. Third-party repayment is not accepted.
- You may repay early. We will tell you what that saves you before you do it.
- A missed instalment is recorded, affects the loan repayment component of your score, and may lead us to restrict your account, offset the amount against balances you hold with us, and pursue the debt. We may use a collection agent, and we report defaults internally rather than to a bureau.
- Your identity is not disclosed to the benefactor who funds you, at any point.

A benefactor puts their own money behind a loan they do not control, to a borrower they cannot identify. You can lose the money. Wiremi does not guarantee the loan, does not buy it back, does not insure it, and will not make you whole if the borrower does not repay. Only commit money you can afford to lose entirely.
- You choose the amount, and only the amount. You do not set the rate, do not select the borrower, do not learn who they are, and do not negotiate terms. Wiremi facilitates and collects; the credit risk is yours.
- Capital is funded only from your own verified wallet. Lending above the base amount requires enhanced verification and source of funds.
- Repayments, when they are made, are credited to your wallet with the interest the loan carried. Yield is a function of the borrower repaying, and nothing else.
- Where a borrower defaults, Wiremi will pursue the debt on the terms of the loan and distribute what is recovered pro rata after costs. A recovery may be partial, late, or nothing at all.
- Your money is committed for the term of the loan. There is no secondary market, and you cannot sell your position or withdraw it early.
- Any link between you and a borrower, including a shared device, address, funding source or family name, is reviewed before a loan is disbursed, and a connected arrangement is a breach of section 6.2.
- Being a benefactor is not a deposit, not a security offered to the public, not insured, and not advice. If you are unsure whether it suits you, it does not.
Schedule H Wiremi Verify
Verify is a consent bridge, not a data broker. This schedule binds both sides: the member whose file is read, and the subscriber who reads it.
If it is your file
- A request reaches you showing who is asking, where they are, the purpose they gave and the depth they want. It expires by itself after 15 minutes if you do nothing. Nothing is released without your approval.
- What you approve is scoped to the depth you agreed and closes by itself after 30 days. Nothing is resold and nothing is kept beyond the audit record.
- Declining costs you nothing, is not an adverse event, does not touch your score, and the requester is told only that you declined, never why.
- You may freeze your file so that no new request can reach you at all. It is free, instant, and there is no limit on how often you do it.
- Every request, answered or not, stays in your enquiry history for seven years. A full check is recorded on your file, and three or more full checks within 30 days count against you. Soft checks never affect the score, however many you approve.
If you are the subscriber
- You must be a verified entity or sole proprietor, each of your authorised users must be verified, and you must attest to a permitted purpose: assessing a lending, tenancy or similar relationship with the person whose file you are asking for.
- You may not run a check without that purpose, on a person who has no relationship with you, or to compile, resell or republish what you read. Abnormal volume, or a purpose that does not fit your business, suspends access.
- A check is $0.45 for a soft check and $1.95 for a full check, with twenty free soft checks each month. You pay only for a check that was approved and retrieved; a decline or an expiry costs nothing. Volume tiers are invoiced monthly, net 30.
- Unused balance never expires and is refunded if you close the account.
- Community Credit is not a bureau report and does not replace one. You remain responsible for your own obligations under the credit reporting, human rights and privacy law that applies to you.
Schedule I Cards
- Wiremi cards are virtual, issued in the app through our card issuing partner, and usable immediately with a number, an expiry and a security code you can reveal when you need them. They can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- A card spends from the wallet it names: your personal wallet, or the operating balance on a business profile. There is no separate card balance to reason about.
- You can freeze and unfreeze a card instantly, per card. A frozen card shows as frozen everywhere it appears.
- Card transactions are also governed by the card network rules and by our issuer’s cardholder terms, which you accept when you create a card. Chargeback rights come from those rules.
- Card spend does not affect Community Credit. The score reads circles, loan repayment and savings held, and nothing else.
Schedule J Stablecoins
Moving dollars on a stablecoin network where that is faster or cheaper than a bank rail, through regulated partners.
- We support fiat-referenced stablecoins issued by regulated issuers, delivered through on-ramp and off-ramp partners. We do not offer exchange between volatile virtual currencies and we do not custody them.
- You pick the network. The network fee for that choice is shown before you confirm, and it is yours to pay.
- A transfer on a blockchain network is final. Once it is broadcast it cannot be recalled, reversed or cancelled by us or by anyone. A transfer sent to the wrong address is generally unrecoverable. Check the address.
- Every destination and source address is screened before a transfer is released. An address associated with a sanctioned person, a mixer, a darknet market or a known theft is blocked, and the attempt is assessed and may be reported.
- For a transfer of CAD $1,000 or more, the travel rule applies as it does to funds, and the required information travels with the transfer.
- A stablecoin is designed to hold a one-to-one peg; an issuer or a network can nevertheless fail, de-peg or be frozen, and we do not guarantee any peg. Receipt of CAD $10,000 or more in virtual currency is reported to FINTRAC.
Schedule K The Earn account
This is not a savings account and not a deposit
The Earn account is a United States dollar account that earns a variable daily yield. It is not a deposit, it is not insured by CDIC or by anyone, and the rate is not guaranteed. The yield comes from where the dollars are placed and held; those venues and the partner that holds the assets carry risk, and you could get back less than you put in. Past yield says nothing about future yield.
- The minimum to open is five dollars. You can move in from your Wiremi wallet or from your stablecoin wallet.
- The rate is variable, is shown in the app before you move money in, and changes without notice. We do not publish a fixed rate because a printed number would be wrong by the time you read it.
- Yield is added daily and stays in the account, where it keeps earning. The app shows what you have earned and the yield day by day.
- Withdrawals go back to your wallet, with the amount currently available to move shown first. Some of the balance may not be immediately available.
- The account is held in United States dollars, so what you get back in your own currency moves with the exchange rate and can be less than you put in even if the yield is positive.
- Yield is not interest paid by Wiremi on a deposit. It is a return generated by the placement of the dollars, net of what the arrangement costs. We do not guarantee it, and we may suspend, change or close the product on notice.
- The Earn balance is not safeguarded under section 7.4 in the way a wallet balance is, because it is placed rather than held. This is the trade you are making for a return, and it is why the warning above is written the way it is.
- You are responsible for the tax on anything you earn. Nothing here is investment advice, and the product is not suitable for money you cannot afford to lose.
Schedule L Wiremi Business
- A business profile sits on the already-verified identity of its owner. There is no second login and no second identity check for the owner, but the business itself must be verified.
- We must confirm the entity exists, identify its directors, and identify every person who owns or controls 25 per cent or more. Anyone at or above that threshold needs a personal Wiremi account. We must also record what the business does and where it operates.
- The business gets its own balance, its own cards, its own credit file and its own facilities. Money moves between your profiles without a fee.
- Business Community Credit is priced on the owners’ personal standing in proportion to what they own. A new company has no record; its owners do.
- You confirm you are authorised to bind the business, and you and the business are jointly responsible for everything done on the profile.
- A business that lends its capital through Circle Credit does so on Schedule G, carries the risk of loss, and recoveries are distributed pro rata after costs.
Schedule M Ori
- Ori is the assistant inside Wiremi. It reads your account, explains what moved your score, compares options and drafts things for you to confirm.
- Ori never moves money. Every amount, every send and every payment is yours to confirm, and only you can press the button.
- Ori does not give investment, tax or legal advice, does not decide an application, does not set a rate and does not make a compliance decision. Those decisions are made by Wiremi and, where they are automated, carry the rights in section 6.4 of the privacy policy.
- Ori can be wrong. It explains how Wiremi works and what your numbers say; the decision stays with you, and where it does not know a figure it says so and points you to where it is shown. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a financial decision.
Schedule N Invitations and referrals
- Where we run a referral or invitation programme, the reward, the conditions and the closing date are stated on the offer at the time, and those terms form part of this agreement for anyone who takes part.
- A reward is earned only where the person you invited opens an account in their own name, is verified, and meets the conditions of the offer. Self-referral, duplicate accounts, fabricated identities and bulk or automated distribution void it.
- We may withhold or reclaim a reward obtained in breach of this schedule, and may end or change a programme on notice. Rewards have no cash value except as the offer states.
- Invite people who would actually want this. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages; Canada’s anti-spam legislation applies to you as well as to us.
